Terms and conditions. For using this website.

These terms govern your use of the website of Makka Digital Printers (makkaco.com). Using the site means you accept them.

About the site

The site is an informational catalogue of Ricoh digital presses and of the service, spare parts and toner we provide. It is not an online shop: no payment and no purchase order is made through it, and any dealing takes place after direct contact with us.

Information and specifications

• We try to keep all specifications and figures accurate and up to date, but they are for general information and may differ by model and by the condition and configuration of the machine.
• Figures for speed, monthly volume and part life come from the manufacturer’s data and our operating experience, and are affected by paper type and operating conditions.
• The results of the calculation tools on the site (such as the feasibility study and running cost) are estimates for guidance, not a quotation and not a guarantee of profit.
• The final specifications are those written in the quotation or the contract.

Prices and availability

The site does not show final selling prices. Price, availability and lead time are set in a written quotation once we know your needs, and the quotation is valid for the period written in it.

Warranty, service and returns

The terms of warranty, service, installation, training, and exchange or return are set in the sales contract or invoice for each transaction, which prevails over anything written on the site.

Intellectual property

The Makka name and logo, and the site’s design, texts and artwork, belong to Makka and may not be copied or republished commercially without written permission. Ricoh, Ricoh Pro and any other marks mentioned are trademarks of their owners, and are mentioned only to identify the products.

Acceptable use

The site may not be used for any unlawful activity, nor may anyone attempt to break into it, disrupt it, or scrape its content automatically in a way that affects its operation.

Links and content from other sites

The site contains links and videos from platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or policies of those sites.

Limits of liability

We do our best to keep the site running and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or interruption. Makka is not liable for any decision or loss arising from relying on the site’s information alone, without reference to a written quotation or contract.

Privacy

How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are subject to the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of Giza.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one in force. The date of the last update is at the top of the page.
